Creating Squeeze Pages

This is Step 6 of an 8 step guide for setting up your internet marketing system.

So far - Step 1 has shown you how to purchase a domain name and set up an account with Godaddy.

Step 2 - setting up a web hosting account with Hostgator.

Step 3 - redirecting name servers.

Step 4 - setting up email accounts through your website.

Step 5 - setting up your Aweber autoresponder series.

Step 6 is creating landing pages. An example of a landing page is when you downloaded the free report The 7 Great Lies of Network Marketing - you were taken to a landing page or squeeze page where you entered your name and email address and then received the download link for The 7 Great Lies of Network Marketing.

To create a mailing list around your product or business opportunity you would need to offer potential customers or prospects something of value, such as a free report or ebook download thus requiring them to submit their name and email address so you can correspond with them further through your autoresponder.

If you were promoting The Renegade Network Marketer, the free report would, naturally be The 7 Great Lies of Network Marketing. Or, if you were promoting, say, a golf product, you could provide a free report on the benefits of warm-up and stretching exercises before hitting off. What you offer has to be perceived as value - so take the time to make it worthwhile.

You would then write a follow-up series of emails (using your autoresponder) to promote your products and services.
